Dec. 2nd, 2005 12:20 amWow... that was a weird story. Ah, well, it was practically a commission. But dude... so weird. I still can't imagine Allana/Admon... it's just... weird... Then again, it's mostly because I have a hard time imagining the girl being significantly taller than the guy. Well, not usually, but during "consummation", it's weird for me to imagine.
And the concept was confusing as hell to write. Female pronouns and male pronouns bouncing around everywhere. I have a newfound respect for yuri and yaoi writers, because bloody hell it's a lot easier when you can just say "he" for one person and "she" for the other. Mah. It's my own fault for insisting on using third person limited. Even the opening scene, with Sera and Admon talking, was evil, because I had to go pronounless for several sentences. And then I kept putting Allana out of character and making her more nervous, stuttery, etc. than she should have been, given that she's the true identity of smooth womanizer Allen. I do think I pulled off the ending pretty well, though.
Oh, well. It's still funny to imagine Sera wondering when the hell Allen became interested in men.
(An explanation of everything I'm talking about: A long time ago, someone [probably me] had the interesting idea of Admona really being a guy and her love interest/now-husband, the former womanizer Allen, really being a girl. And, while it definitely wouldn't work in the canon [especially after that one AAoB sidestory scene], it made for a nicely weird AU sidestory)
